The International Blueberry Days is one of the most important events scheduled during the Macfrut fair. This event is entirely dedicated to blueberries, one of the most po and appreciated fruits worldwide.

It is an international event dedicated to the main Opinion Leaders of the blueberry supply chain, structured over several days with contributions from technicians and operators from the main world areas of production and marketing.

At 11:30, in fact, a presentation on the theme "New berry cultivation environments" will be held in the test field of Pavilion A1 with an in-depth analysis by Milena Poledica, PhD and agronomist of the Group and by Professor Cristiana Peano, full professor of the Department of Agricultural, Forestry and Food Sciences of the University of Turin.

At Macfrut 2023, Arrigoni will also be present with all its other proposals for modern agriculture, from anti-insect, anti-rain, anti-hail and anti-wind solutions. In the spotlight there will be Biorete® Air Plus, a range of high-tenacity anti-insect nets, made with dense and light textures, in polyethylene monofilament. Robuxta® Thermo-reflective screen is an option to create the ideal environment for plant growth in all temperate climate zones. In summer, the fabric reflects IR rays, responsible for high temperatures, reduces temperature and increases water savings. During the winter, this protection creates the ideal microclimate within the protected environment, increasing the resistance of crops to cold temperatures and preventing frost damage. The addition of the LD additive for light diffusion, scatters light waves, improves light conditions within the protected area and prevents the appearance of sunburns on plants.

Prisma®, then, is the entire line of polyethylene strip fabrics with LD – Light Diffusion additive. These screens reflect IR rays, improve the microclimate and reduce the temperature, while increasing the percentage of scattered light, to promote better development of the plants that are inside.

Protecta®, on the other hand, a fabric with a very dense weave, which protects the crops from rain but at the same time allows an adequate passage of air.
